Is it really free?
Yes. Self-hosting DoorForm is free under the Elastic License 2.0. You can run it for your own business — any number of units — at no cost.
What's the catch with the license?
You can freely use, modify, and self-host DoorForm. The one restriction is that you may not offer it to third parties as a hosted or managed service — that right is how we fund development.
Can you host it for us?
Yes — managed hosting and support is our commercial offering. We handle hosting, upgrades, backups, and support, with onboarding and migration. Contact us for a quote.
How do I try it before installing?
A live demo — a fully loaded DoorForm with sample data, no sign-up required — is coming soon. Until then, self-host it with Docker in a few minutes, or contact us for a walkthrough.
What do I need to self-host?
The quickest path is Docker (the compose stack bundles Postgres and Redis). You can also run it directly on PHP 8.5+ with PostgreSQL and Redis. The documentation walks through both.
